    • Clone Image Without LAN Port

Hi, I don’t know if the topic already exists but I searched and couldn’t find it.

Now there are many laptops that do not have a LAN port and this prevents cloning with FOG.

Is there an option to be able to clone my image on laptops without a LAN port?

      Thanks for the help

@george1421 What I want to do, on disk 1 only system, will not have images. Only the images will be on the disc. Once I tried to do it but it generated permission errors

    • Location of images

Hi, is there a way to save images in a location other than / images? For example having 2 hard drives, on the disk only system and on disk 2 the images.

      Thank you

    • RE: Boot Hyper V and VirtualBox

@george1421 I was reading that using Gen 1 in Hyper v makes the legacy adapter very slow, but using Gen 2 should improve the speed, but if I create a Gen 2 virtual it displays an adapter error and SCSI Disk

@Sebastian-Roth With that configuration, it worked for me. But now the problem is that the cloning speed is too slow, an average of 500MB / min.

      It can improve?

      Thanks for the iPXE tip

@Sebastian-Roth The problem is that it does not advance of the message: iPXE initialising devices…

It stays frozen, I have left it for several minutes and it does not display the FOG menu

    • Boot Hyper V and VirtualBox

Hello, I have problems to start FOG on clients from Hyper V and VirtualBox.

The server assigns me IP but does not pass ipxe.

      What I can do?

I enclose my dhcpd.conf file which I modified with the example that exists in the forum.

PS: Sorry for my bad English.

      Thank you
