@mikmatcr If this only ever happens on multicast deploys we should start looking at those logs I reckon. Please upload all the log files you find in /var/log/fog/ that have multicast in their filename.

Though I am not much optimistic we’ll find the issue in multicasting. I say this because in the pictures we see errors at various points in the deployment process. That points to hardware issues on those machines I would guess. Maybe dying hard drives or memory or whatever.

I already solved it, it was that there were 2 PHP folders (7.2 and 7.4) that were giving conflict, I eliminated the www.conf and reinstalled FOG. with that it worked

@mikmatcr So does it mean you were able to properly capture the image from the 500 GB disk and deploy to the 256 GB disk?

From the new d1.minimum.partitions it looks like it but just want to make sure I don’t misunderstand.

What I mean is using an image captured with FOG but displaying it with Clonzilla. It’s possible?

No capture the image with clonezilla and deploy it. If you don’t have a clonezilla image, deploy with fog and have fog power off the computer after imaging. Then boot from clonezilla usb and capture image. Not clean but without a network port you are a bit stuck.

How can I put this answer as a solution and close this thread?

@mikmatcr OK since I still have the development system setup I just spun up a Gen2 vm client. MDT is currently building the golden image. I did see that they changed the disk controller to SCSI. It will take about 1hr for MDT to finish the build. I’ll get some bench mark numbers after that.
