oh ok. Can you check the Active Directory field and see if your domain username is typed in like this (domain\username) or did you just put (username)?

RE: Joining Domain Problems with windows 7
Do you have the join domain checkbox check on the client in fog?

RE: Can't have partition outside the disk
Is this still an issue for you? The problem is the image was taken from a larger harddrive than what you have in the computer you are trying to image. When you created the image you may have selected multiple partition image which is not resizeable so it won’t shrink to a smaller drive.

RE: Joining Domain Problems with windows 7
Have you put your domain credentials in FOG so it know what account to use to join the computers to the domain?

RE: "Can't unmount /ntfs: Invalid argument" on Deployment
The fix that I have found is to run a startup repair with the windows 7 cd then try reimaging.

RE: "Can't unmount /ntfs: Invalid argument" on Deployment
I am also having this same problem, but I don’t believe it has anything to do with my image because I have recreated it several times. Is there any other known fixes for it?

RE: Backing up?
I also have a Raid 5 with 6 drives but they are older drives, I would be in a lot of trouble if something happened and we lost data. We have over 30 images which as you know is a lot of man hours to recreate them. I know there is a backup script that comes with the previous versions of FOG is there one for .32?

RE: [SOLVED] Lenovo ThinkPad T530 pxe boot problem
Wow! I don’t think I have ever had to start that service after rebooting but I haven’t rebooted the server in over a year. That seems to have fix the problem gentleman! Thanks for that I can’t believe I didn’t realize it wasn’t started before I began posting for help. Thanks for your time and research you have done to help me out and Thanks to the developers for such an awesome Imaging program!!!

RE: [SOLVED] Lenovo ThinkPad T530 pxe boot problem
Thanks for your reply and the information you have given me. I have looked at the manual and checked all the setting in the BIOS related to network booting however none of the options have allowed the system to connect to my FOG server. I have contacted lenovo about the issue and they said they would get back to me but I doubt they will. I have also contacted Intel about the nic and inquired if it was possible to roll back the boot agent version. The T530 is using Intel Boot Agent v1.3.81 I have been wondering if that was part of the problem. The system is trying to get a dhcp address from the server but fails giving error code PXE-E51 no DHCP or proxyDHCP offers were received. Thanks again for trying to help.

RE: [SOLVED] Lenovo ThinkPad T530 pxe boot problem
I did and they had me change a few things in the BIOS then update the BIOS and make a few more changes to see if that would work. It didn’t and then they told me it was not their problem, it must be our FOG server but all of our other computers boot to it.

[SOLVED] Lenovo ThinkPad T530 pxe boot problem
We just got 4 new T530 laptops in, I have set it up the way we want it and now I need to upload the image to FOG but the laptop will not boot to pxe. I have looked up the manual for this model laptop and it does say it supports pxe booting but it also states “The Remote Initial Program Load (RPL) function cannot be used with your computer” does that mean it can’t boot to FOG? I have check all the bios settings and have found nothing to change related to pxe booting. Has anybody got any ideas that could help me and has anybody been able to image this model laptop? Thanks!

RE: Support for EFI GPT systems?
I was able to get my laptop to boot after changing a few setting in the BIOS. I change the sata controller to compatibility mode and I set the UEFI settings on the startup page to boot to legacy device first. You should not have to re-image the computer but you may have to use the windows 7 disc to repair the installation.
