    • RE: FOG setup on new network with 4 Vlans

is there not a way to make certains vlans accessible to each other ?
i know i am working in an enviroment with more than 3 vlans and there is certain vlans that can see each other and certain ones cannot, so i know its possible so just get the Network guy to open the vlans to see each other

    • Directory Cleaner

      Hi Guys

can someone shed some light on this on how it works ?
i have it set to 1 under fog settings, i set it to manual in the Fog Configuration, and there use to the default accounts in there that should be protected eg Administrator, Guest etc
but when i checked it out now its completely clean ? those accounts are no longer there
If i check the machines and none of the profiles has been deleted

      Thanks

    • RE: Windows 7 Problem

My thought would be that because the hardware is not exactly the same the image would push fine but the NIC drivers are not exactly the same so when you do login as administrator then Windows updates the new driver (which i would assume at this point it has it built it) and upon reboot it now has networking capabitlity…
      Thats just my thought 🙂

    • RE: Nfs mount - bad file descriptor / permission denied

ok this might not even be closely related to your issue, but it is saying permission denied ? does the FOG account have permission to both those folders ? /images/dev and /images ?

    • RE: Fog rejoining computer to AD that is already in AD

thats what i do anyway, make sure that the machine is in AD and i never specify a container just leave the field blank and you wont have a issues… If im not mistaken its in the documentation that you should leave this field blank

    • RE: Future thought

      Hi Guys

i am aware of all the command line switches, but it could also be used for sending messages to user’s as well, like alot of you that are working in BIG enviroments EG University’s you would know how students get out of hand on your lab pc’s…

Anyway it was just a thought 🙂
