you chaps are the best. !
yeh an upgrade would be best when we go live with fog when released.
So playing with SVN 7098
we currently use 0.32 on site. do I need to update the FogService from the old version?
Well i’m now up to date as of SVN (unknown number at moment)
Anyway, this did not resolve the issue on it’s own but changing the PXE options worked just fine. Exit to 1st HDD.
i guess would have worked before but it’s better now anway.
Thanks
lol, OK i’ll update that too and report back sometime next week.
Sounds like a plan. I’ll complete anyway and report back next week sometime.

SANBOOT

currently using FOG (SVN 6455)
When we boot a PC through FOG PXE, it drops out to HDD but just displays flashing " _" in the top left.
With fog 0.32 i thnk we had to add something to the chain…?..?
Any advise on getting them working again?
Yep, sorry for the delay.
Noticed that if you just reboot the machine it works next time. Seems to be the 1st full windows boot it doesn’t work (not always)
I syspreped on 17/03/2016 @ 11:57 (so anything after is a deployment record)
@Jbob
Sure, Will do next time it happens. i’m deploying tests all day so it shouldn’t take long.
Re: FOG Client 0.9.0 - Joining to domain?
SVN 6455
As in the link above the FOG log shows:
ERROR: Could not set SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ComputerName\ActiveComputerNameComputerName
Checking the services, the FOG is stopped but set to auto. If I start the service / reboot it seems to continue.
Why does it not work the 1st time round?
@Wayne-Workman
i didn’t change it. it was always resizeable.
@Wayne-Workman
well I checked and it was set to resizable
it’s just Win10 but i need to look to find out what size the HDD was before. Monday job…
