The Fog ignores it, and averything works fine. SWAP don’t needs for Linux work, it’s only a ‘help’

Please, check if you execute the STEP 9correctly.

I think you don’t need modify zip files on server. I don’t change and works good.

I seem to have got through everything fine except for the sysprep part. After I run sysprep and then restart the VM it will not PXE boot. Can anyone please help as I am due to deploy Windows 7 to nearly 500 clients next week. 😕

Hi!
Try:
If you’re using VMware Workstation you have to press F12 to boot over a network.
If you’re using VirtualBox you must change the type of processing to PIXX4 (or 3). is a network card from AMD, I think.

Waiting feedback 🙂

Hi!

Finally! I can Deploy and Upload Caixa Magica and Ubuntu 12LTS.

My resolution:
MAKE INSTALLATION IN VMWARE MACHINE 🙂
Make a Primary Partitions and ‘EXT3 with journal’ (/dev/sda1)
SWAP end partition (It is ignored for FOG - by BryzeZ in previous post)
Install grub in /dev/sda1
Install S.O and update
Finally upload

Good deploys for your rooms 😄
Hi all!
Image uploaded
Show a bluescreen again (counter %)
The file system in (/dev/sda2) is SWAP (v1), is not supported
Image upload sucessfully.

Now I check the size of created/uploaded image and

d1.mbr - 32,256 B
d1p1.mbr - 931 B
Hi!! I see now when fog upload a SWAP partition fog doesn’t create the file “d1p2.img” . 😐

I doesn’t understand why SWAP doesn’t upload :s GGRRRR

Thank you!
I will try that!!
Best Regards!

EDIT:
OK SYSPREP ok.
But a question, what chipset I use on VirtualBox? PIIX3 or ICH9?
And what type of IDEController? PIIX3 , PIIX4 or ICH6?
Because When I deploy the image, the virtualmachine starts MySysPrep Runs
OK
system reboot
and than
Stays a black screen with ‘stopped’ cursor. what’s mean?
Well, I am the Impacient guy haha
I onlu need sometime, I think it’s tima to SO update configs 😼

To finish the installation I only need put a RunOnce Command to delete the sysprep folder, or I’m wrong?
