@Tom-Elliott It deploys fine to a similar sized hard drive as the one it was captured from. It is the smaller ones that are an issue. The image is not sysprepped if that helps.

@Tom-Elliott I am capturing again with RC-6 I will let you know how it goes.

RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
@Tom-Elliott I reinstalled, captured and tried deploying but windows is failing at startup still. Should I run the legacy fog prep on the machine before capturing?

RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
@Tom-Elliott I pulled from the dev-branch but it said already up to date. Is there a different branch I should pull from?

RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
@Jaymes-Driver Its not the ssd. I tried a 250gb hdd and have the same issue.
-
RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
@Jaymes-Driver Yes, it is 250gb as opposed to 500gb. The image is captured as single disk resizable.

RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
I am using the mushkin triactor ssd.
I just tested the deploy to a HDD and it worked ok.

RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
It deployed ok to a regular hard drive last week that’s why I am thinking it is the ssd.

RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
I am on 1.3.5 RC 5. I recaptured and redeployed but “Inserting Extended partitions” is still failing. The rest of the deploy process succeeds and windows begins to boot but then fails. Could it be the switch to an ssd?

RE: Inserting Extended partitions - failed
Im not sure. I think this was the image that you had me put a 1 in the partitions fixed size file for the first partition. Is that related?

Description
I created an image last week and tested the deployment. It worked fine.
Today, I replaced the hard drive in a computer with a smaller ssd. Before partclone ran “Inserting Extended partitions” fails.Partclone completes successfully but then windows fails to start.

RE: Image size on server
Go to Fog Configuration --> Fog Settings --> General Settings --> Check the box next to FOG_FTP_IMAGE_SIZE
This might cause your image page to load slower depending on how many images you have.

RE: FOG Imaging Log Not Working
@cml Yes, I am seeing errors but im not sure it is related (pardon the typos as I typed over the errors - not sure how to copy from ubuntu server to here):
Uncaught Error: Call to a member function is Valid() on null in /var/www/fog/lib/client/registerclient.class.php:67\nStack trace: n#0 /var/www/fog/lib/fogpage.class.php(2701): RegisterClient->json()\n#1 /var/www/fog/lib/fog/fogpage.class.php(262): FOGPage->requestClientInfo()\n#2 /var/www/fog/lib/fog/processlogin.class.php(57): FOGPage->__construct('')\n#3[internal function]: ProcessLogin->__contruct()\n#4```

RE: PartClone fail on deploy - error code 1
@Tom-Elliott That worked. Thanks!
Anything I should be doing differently in the future when I create/capture images to avoid this problem?

RE: PartClone fail on deploy - error code 1
@Tom-Elliott I got the same error but I am not sure I added the 1 correctly. The file was “:3” and I made it “:31” Is that correct?
