RE: FOG Network boot problem ACPI Error and IP Not Found
@Sebastian-Roth Sure I can do that. Can you point me in the right direction to update the kernel? (Never done it before)I’ve already made a backup of the server so it shouldnt be an issue if something goes wrong.

RE: FOG Network boot problem ACPI Error and IP Not Found
@agray Still looking at DHCP settings and options. Looks like our options were reversed (66 and 67) (Win Server 2008). Hopefully this will fix it, but I need to test. I will update after I know more. Thanks.

FOG Network boot problem ACPI Error and IP Not Found
All,
I have been trying to accomplish an inventory of a base image that I’m trying to upload to FOG. I get the initial FOG boot screen, select Perform Full Host Inventory and it will error out. I’ve also tried quick inventory and setup as well as the compatibility test. All selections result in the same error. Here is the image of the error as well as the information about the system I’m running and the host PC.
Host PC: Lenovo m920q
FOG Server: CentOS 7
FOG version:1.4.4I have also set FOG so that it will ignore the ACPI errors but I’m still having an issue getting the IP address back after the PC reboots.

RE: problem ACPI error
@Quazz I’m having a similar issue. I have FOG version 1.44 running Centos 7.![0_1559749026590_20190604_142804.jpg](Uploading 100%)

RE: problem ACPI error
I went to the FOG settings and modified it from there. It seemed to get rid of the ACPI error, but I still am having a IP address not found. Here is a screenshot of where I found it.
I’m going to isolate the PC and the FOG server from the current network and try it on a regular home router to see if I can solve the DHCP issue. I will update when I find more answers.

RE: PXE Boot Issues after running the Mobile Fog Management script
@wayne-workman Let me ask this. Is there a certain directory that I should run the installer from? I just ran it from a folder on the desktop, unassuming that it might need to be in a certain location to pull the correct IP.

RE: PXE Boot Issues after running the Mobile Fog Management script
@wayne-workman I got exactly the same output. So now what?

RE: PXE Boot Issues after running the Mobile Fog Management script
@wayne-workman Yes, I ran the installer. I looked at the log file and this is what it had: “The path for IP was not found. Exiting” I’m not too familiar with programming. I did look at the script and tried to find where it was getting that information from, but I got lost pretty easy. Can you point me in the right direction or take a look at it? Thanks.

RE: PXE Boot Issues after running the Mobile Fog Management script
@george1421 You were right on the money. I changed the IP in the file and it booted straight into FOG. Is there a way we can fix this? @Wayne-Workman

I checked all of the web settings before I made the post. I’ll see about editing the file tomorrow. Thanks @george1421
