so it is still giving you the Stars down the center? Your imaging is set to partclone not partimage right?

All you want to do is go to your images folder and set permissions for all.
cd /images
chmod -R 777 *and that will give you full permissions and should no longer give you any issues

Changing the permissions on the images folder worked! I wish I would have tried that first before I created a post. Thanks for the reminder!

RE: Fog Upload Weird Issue
Thank you Tom, I will try and do that and see if I can get it by adding more CPU’s and more Memory.

RE: Fog Upload Weird Issue
Ok, because the actual downloading of the image to the computers don’t lag whatsoever, so that’s why I was curious why the upload did it.

RE: Fog Upload Weird Issue
We have the three VM hosts setup through 8GB Fiber Channel to a SAN chassis that has 600GB 15K SAS drives in it and that’s where the storage is

Fog Upload Weird Issue
Hey All,
I am curious if anyone has run into this problem other than me… I have a fog server running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Server Edition on VSphere 5 Virtual Machine and I have a speed issue with uploading. When the upload first starts, it is blazing fast at about 1.74 Gb/Min and then after 38 seconds it just stops for 44 seconds, then starts again blazing fast for another 38 seconds and repeats this until the upload is done. Is there a reason why it would do this? It has been with both partimage and partclone.

Imaging stuck on upload after finished
Please see my picture to see if anyone has seen this before. I got stuck after the “Clearing NTFS flag” and now it is just displaying a bunch of starts down the middle of the screen.

Fog Failing to Upload fog_backup.sql
Hey All,
I just recently upgraded to 1.1.0 and took a backup of my configuration before I reinstalled the newer version of Ubuntu and then now that I have everything running again, I tried to import the backup and it says “Could not Upload File”. I really need help with this as I am dead in the water if I can’t upload all the settings I had in place. That will take me months to try and get everything back to the way it was.

RE: Fog Ping Function Version .32
Thank you very much for this! Now with this being said…is there anyway to enact this with Group Policy to all clients? Let me know. Thanks a bunch!

Fog Ping Function Version .32
I am having problems with the ping responses from the web ui. I can ssh into the fog server, and ping the host and it is visible and everything is good there. The minute that I try to use the web ui and look at all hosts it shows up as a red dot because it can’t see them. I have done some thorough testing and the minute I disable windows firewall it goes green and everything works. The thing is that I don’t want to have to disable the windows firewall and leave my company open to attack. I was wondering if anyone knew the port exceptions I would have to add to windows firewall to make that part of it work? Or if there is a way to track which ports open or are being used for the web ui pinging part?
Thanks a bunch.
