@szecca1 And ensure you have configure your switchs for WOL across VLAN.

Can you try to use FTP from the FOG server itself? If it works, then that is a valuable troubleshooting piece.

More on the āPending MAC approvalsā thingā¦
Just imaged a Lenovo L530 and same thing.
Using the legacy client.
It seems like FOG does this every single time you image a laptop (because one wired NIC and one wireless NIC).
It doesnāt matter how many times I approve the MAC addresses for laptops, every time I re-image them, it asks me to approve the MAC addresses again.
Same here on HP desktop DC5800 : Two ethernet cards.

RE: Ubuntu 15.04 & SVN 3510
@sudburr Ubuntu is right for desktop, but for a server use a Debian headless

What do you mean?
FOG Is a network booting system. The BIOS needs to be setup to allow network booting as the first option.

Finally ftp://IP/images is OK without anymore configuration, itās seem to be a native setting in Qnap.
He modify his storage node configuration too.

Can the below posts be translated to English for future users?
The user FOG on NAS have these access :
NFS root folder : /share/MD0_DATA/images
FTP root folder : /share/MD0_DATAFOG client try to access to /share/MD0_DATA/share/MD0_DATA/images << that tree is false.
The user FOG canāt browse the / of the NAS.We try to create a ln :
ln -s /share /share/MD0_DATA/share
But FOG is not an admin of QNap NAS.

RE: Can't copy /dev/@MAC to /images (Qnap)
The LN is because the user FOG in FTP have /share/MD0_DATA as root folder.
Itās Slowave who add it to solve the problem of FOG copy via FTP.But the user FOG have not the rights on /shareā¦
Any idea ?

I can " cp -a /share/MD0_DATA/image/dev/@MAC /share/MD0_DATA/images/NameOfMyImage" but Itās not very professional

Hi,
Not sure but chmod in 777 your .mntcheck files.
Ensure that the user FOG on the NAS has the right to move file in FTP. You can check it with a FTP client.Regards,

I already did a ls -ltr which display all the folders and subfolders under /images.
You are requesting another listing of the directories in a listing format. Which would be almost the same as the one I already provided.Iāve a hard day today, where ???

RE: Storage Nodes & Disk Info Pie Chart

These machines are all on different subnets and are communicating over an MPLS network + VPN. The subnets are being advertised by a Meraki MX80 firewall at the same location as the server and are all part of one big VLAN, in a sense.
I notice when I try:
mysql -u root -h <IPOFFOGSERVER> fog
it appends the local IP address to the username.sradmin@mid-fog-node ~ $ mysql -u root -h 192.168.xxx.200 fog ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'192.168.yyy.200' (using password: NO)
Could this be causing the authentication failure?
The MySQL database is only on the FOG server (sorry for my crap messages to check if node reply to MySQL requests)
Now, if you use MPLS itās layer 2 network, ans there is nothing that drop your trafficā¦
If you can not connect the MySQL server from node storage, you have a network restriction in your MySQL server configuration.

ok. we are progressing. I“ve tested the time in a php-file (date-function) and the apache time is ok.

The scheduled task worked with exception of the hour:You have edit your post to past your code, you can paste it in the code tags, the button ā</>ā

RE: FOG Multicast Issue
@Wayne-Workman said:
Inside the FOG DB, there are two multicast association tables. Can you delete all the rows in those tables, re-install FOG, and try again and see what happens?
TRUNCATE TABLE multicastSessions; TRUNCATE TABLE multicastSessionsAssoc; DELETE FROM tasks WHERE taskTypeId=8;
Via MySQL cli or phpmyadmin (easy to install)

Looking at the image info, I got:
"Deploy MethodPartclone"
I am thinking the image should be ok as it is created with Partclone as well. After looking a several of my images, there are all created with Partclone imaging software.
How do I fix the issue?
Partclone is not an issue. Could you ls -l /images/a_bugged_restored_image
