Can not create an image from the server of a client.
-
I am sorry I think I am missing something somewhere. I have went in to “Image Management” I created the image. I set all the options on it. I have went to “Host Management” I have created the task for immediate deployment. I then went to “Task Management” I selected the task and it says it is “Queued”. I go to “Force task to start” and it sits there. I see it doing nothing. Also on the “Client” I am running the FOG Client. Is there some sort of step by step guide to make this work? I am running the latest release of FOG 1.2.0
Thank you in advance,

Reboot the client?
-
Is the image assigned to the host?
-
The client you’re currently using with 1.2.0 has it’s own configuration options. If you want to “force” a system to reboot when there’s a task you have to edit the C:\Program Files (x86)\FOG\etc\config.ini file particular for the TaskReboot section.
You’ll see a line of code like:
# ------------------------------------------------------------------------ # Should we reboot even if someone is logged in? # ------------------------------------------------------------------------ forcerestart=0
Change the 0 to a 1. Restart the FOG Service. You should be good after that.

I restarted the Client now it keeps restarting. It loads to the log in screen then logs off and restarts.
Any Ideas?
Thank you in advance,

Is the system set to network boot?
-
It is set to boot from hard disk.
-
What do you mean?
FOG Is a network booting system. The BIOS needs to be setup to allow network booting as the first option.
