@boriquaboy115 FOG is an opensource project. AFAIK there is no physical location where The FOG Project exists. One of the developers might know for tax reasons if there is a specific mailing address.

As I said, The FOG Project is an opensource project with developers around the world. The senior developer that approves releases is based in the USA.

If you need this information for federal regulatory submission reasons, you may have a hard time getting opensource software approved for use.

I ended up finding the fix.

Step 1: Change IP Address, then deactivate and activate the network interface.

Step 2: Run the UpdateIP.sh within the fog-community-scripts-master.zip found here https://github.com/FOGProject/fog-community-scripts

      Step 3: Rerun the installer.
If you have NO INTERNET CONNECTION, like myself in this case,
rerun with the -X option like so,

      ./installfog -X

I verified it worked with my new subnet and I was able to boot off my Fog Server, register new hosts, as well as capture and deploy an encrypted Linux image.

This was successfully done on a Rhel 7.9 VM with no internet connection FYI.

@boriquaboy115 I would like to say yes for LUKS encryption. I created a one off kernel for that a while ago for a specific use case.

Part 2: LVM isn’t a problem for FOG, it just can’t resize the disk image, so you can only deploy it to the same size disk or larger if you have an LVM partition.
