so you are saying that before i deploy the image i shoud delete my second partition??
and what should i do after the deployment to restore the partition and its data?
I believe he meant that you should delete the second partition from the FOG server, so it does not overwrite the user data partition upon restore.

Hi Amine,
Have you defined an image within Image Management, and associated this image with the client workstation?

RE: How to use FOG to supply machine specific drivers for Windows 7 Sysprepped machines
You can download the driverpack from here.
I call to DP_Tools from runonce.cmd script. You must uncompress the .7z file in c:\drivers folder, and post-sysprep call to runonce.cmd script.
How do you avoid the Found New Hardware Wizard? It seems this causes the DPInst process to hang until all New Hardware Detected windows are closed. Thanks again for all of your help.

RE: How to use FOG to supply machine specific drivers for Windows 7 Sysprepped machines
F
Andrew: We tested a similar solution. The script is saved in the database (you write it in the WEBUI in a text area, and fog saved it via form), and the fog script accesses it from a web service after deploy process, before restart PC.
If you want to test the driverPack, I can share it.
Fernando, I’d love to test your driverpack/script. I deal with many of the same model workstations in our environment. -

RE: How-to: Create a universal windows XP image using mysysprep.exe and VM Ware
Thanks for the quick walkthrough, SSX4LIFE!
If I wanted an image to detect ALL hardware, do I need to add all additional display/sound/etc drivers to \sysprep\drivers before running spdrvscn?
Thanks again for your help!
