• RE: Windows 7 Deployment FOG- SAD2 Driver tool
Were you able to figure this one out, Kendall? I am experiencing the same “Unable to extract” error.
It was this line that was causing the Unable to extract error message:
Start /wait /separate /high “” “%cur%\bin\un7zip.exe” “%cur%\bin\dpinst32.7z” %SystemDrive%\D
The more recent versions of SAD2 have this file renamed to dpinst.7z, and located in C:\Drivers\SAD2\bin\32
I have gotten my image to deploy to a virtual machine. When the DP_Install tool begins extracting, it stops and prompts me with a message box No files to Extract. I click ok and it begins extracting fine.
Were you able to figure this one out, Kendall? I am experiencing the same “Unable to extract” error.

Will the more ATI drivers be rolled into the Kitchen Sink 3.4.x? I am currently using this kernel for any workstation that has an ATI card, otherwise I get the snow screen.
OK. I figured out how to update the server. I am running v0.32

Still trying to figure out how to get the image off one HP 8200 and onto others.
What part of the process are you having trouble with? I’ve recently deployed ~100 8200 SFF and Ultra Thins without a problem.

Perhaps this could be achieved using Snap-ins. What software licenses are you speaking of?
…It probably isn’t much more work, it just seems like it. I guess I can just take a laptop with me and use that to have FOG open the whole time. Thanks for the reply.
Just curious, but what are the naming conventions your going from/to?
