Description

So I was told today by a tech they were having issues getting snapins to run. When I went to look there was a bunch of tasks Queued and ready to go. However, when I looked closely I saw that the same host was trying to run all kinds of different snapins. When I went to the host I saw this:

Now these were not added by someone here. However, the 1-xxx snapins were the machines imaged today. So for some reason every time we have imaged today, snapins are getting randomly assigned to the hosts getting imaged. As well as sometimes the 1-xxx will disappear from hosts.

As a side note, I also have it set to allow no more than 3 snapins per host.

Not sure what is going on lol. Oh, I will add this is also a rolled back DB from one of my previous posts. So I don’t if it is the version I am running or my DB is getting jacked all up with false items. Just very odd.

EDIT: Now when trying to dpeloy an imamge I get this :

So I noticed here lately the GUI takes a while to load pages. Like 20-30 seconds

I also get constant alerts that the CPU usage is high in Vshpere: I just ran top on the server and see this:

@theWizard I am uncertain of that, that would be a Wayne/Tom question. Sorry

@Frank If you just went to RC-10, you might notice the snapins still not running due to the hash value not existing. This is fixed in RC-11, but not sure when that is set to be released. Also if you updated to RC-10, I do not believe client 9.2 will work at all. The last couple release prior to RC’s coming out, you HAD to be on the 11.2 version of the client I think it was in order for everything to work happily together.

@george1421 would it be able to spawn from there? I have no idea how in depth it is. Im just generally curious.

@george1421 Is this stricly to allow signing into the FOG Gui with AD credentials or will we be able to interact with AD via fog. Like assigning snapins to certain AD groups.

@Tom-Elliott Well. it looks like the inventory sent, but when I go to check the hosts in the GUI, it is does not show up when I do a search, neither host name nor mac are to be found. (sent from a remote node)

@theWizard Now it says doesn’t exist, which is a known issue in RC-10. Tom has fixed this in RC-11. Not sure how he wants you to handle this from here though. He bumped me up to a dev version to see if it fixed the issue, but I don’t think he wants everyone doing that. I will leave this up to him.

@Wayne-Workman Tom was working on my system on the 16th, which has two entries, but I just noticed them missing, so not sure when it went missing. The one for the 13th is 0 in size, so not sure how far to go.

@Wayne-Workman Vsphere keeps complaining about CPU utilization. Only on that server out of the 20+ in the cluster. I will work on getting the logs
