Would it be possible to view the fog.log for the client on the web interface?
Would be helpful for fault finding a computer with out remoting into C drive or logging on to the PC.
Thanks.

Did anyone get this working?
I have a large batch of the EliteBook 840 G6.
Some of which build and other are extremely slow.
Looks like my batch has 2 versions or firmware versions.
The one that works is “Toshiba KXG60ZNV256G 79VA215DKRVN” and the other is the same drive but an older firmware by the looks of it.
Im in contact with HP to see about getting a firmware updater…
Littlwe update.
So i swapped SSD out of a “slow” building laptop into a “working full speed” laptop.
So i thought the working laptop would now build slow, well it didnt. Building at full speed.
The other laptop with the SSD from the original full speed laptop is still building slow.
So maybe its not SSD related, but something on the motherboard?
“no space on device” will i try to format the ssd and run tests again?
I will quickly build windows off usb and test.
The Linux was just Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, used Rufus to put it onto a USB and live booted.
Will i try the same test with a “working” laptop and see if we get the same speeds.
Ok so i ran some tests, i hope it make sense to you all.
These where all ran on the same original slow laptop i have been using since the start.

Setting now set, my original laptop is now building at the 6.5gb/min i expected.
Will set a load more off soon and report back.
Again many thanks to everyone that has helped me out over the last few weeks.
@duncan
removed the storage node and it seems to be working now.
Il try to rebuild the node and test again.
@sebastian-roth Yeh i wiped the fog server and reinstalled it all using http. not https.
I cleared out the storage node fog settings and then reran the installer.
Im setting it up as new server so didnt bother keeping certs. I then uninstalled the client and reinstalled on windows 10 build.
Im going to rebuild the server one more time, but not add the node and see how it behaves.
Thanks
Tried that, didnt solve anything.
Ended up redoing Server and Storage node. Now i have new issues…

@george1421
im just getting chain loading errors - we have the usbc to ethernet. that will have to do meantime.
Cheers for the help there. much appreciated.
Duncan
its an Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_02F0&SUBSYS_00748086&REV_00
i just tried the bzimagewifi, but i suspect my wifi driver is not in the file.
any chance you could update it to include it? pretty please…
@duncan ok, its almost working. MTU was lowered on Vlan and can now deploy an image.
I now get a irq 16: nobody cared (try booting it with the “irqpoll” option)
then the error no network interfaces found.
Fog v1.4.4
So we have 840 G7s - there’s no ethernet on these. They do have the option to wifi boot. Which i have working. I setup the wifi in the bios. setup the dhcp scope options and boot on wifi.
I get the usual:
Start PXE over IPv4
It sees the server, gets the NBP filename etc, talks to DCHP get IP address.
If i dont have a deployment task sitting i get the login screen to fog, then it just hangs on the 2nd boot.php…
If i have a deployment task it hangs on the bzImage…
Iv updated the kernals to the latest -
bzImage Version: 5.10.50
bzImage32 Version: 5.10.50
Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz
What im a missing?
Thanks Duncan
