FTP Login Error on Upload to Fog Server

• FOG Version: 1.3.5
• OS: Ubuntu 16.04.1

Client

• Service Version: 1.3.2.
• OS: windows 7 Ent

Description

When the Client tries to upload the Image after sysprep I get an error uploading that says ftp login incorrect…I am sure this is from some phantom setting somewhere that did not get changed…any ideas there Tom Elliot?

This FTP error is a disconnect between what FOG has listed in the storage configuration and the linux fog user account. Ensure the linux fog account listed in the /opt/fog/.fogsettings file matches what is defined for the system in the storage management user and password.

Which version of 1.3.5 ??? This is not yet released, it’s still in RC (release candidate).

Did the update / install and now when I click Create new Host takes me to a dead page…all others seem to work okay.

@butch2861 Please tail the apache error log. For Ubuntu it would be error.log. Blank screens typically indicate a php error in the page.

A reinstall helped correct the problem with the password.
