According to the screenshot the OP posted…

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

Please support FOG if you like it: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Support_FOG

@fredlwal This is the error Cannot add PPA: ‘ppa:ondrej/php’. that is the root of your issue.

I just remember a thread about this issue, this past week. It was related to some non-LTS versions of ubuntu not having this package available.

@fredlwal What version of Debian/Ubuntu are you using?

@Developers I remember seeing a thread on this, but I can’t seem to find it or the answer, sorry.

@fredlwal Sounds like you have a proxy or web filter that is doing some sort of wild DNS redirecting or web caching. others have had this issue in the past with the same two errors you just described.

Again, going to say it’s a webfilter / proxy / firewall issue.

                    Try adding it manually:

                    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php
                    sudo apt-get update

When this fails, try to curl the hosting site:

                    curl https://launchpad.net/~ondrej/+archive/ubuntu/php

@fredlwal Well then, there is a self-signed certificate in the chain somewhere as the error says.

What happens when you simply try to visit:
                        https://launchpad.net/~ondrej/+archive/ubuntu/php

Does your browser warn you about certificate errors? When I visit this, I get zero warnings or errors.

                          @fredlwal

Do you have a webfilter appliance?

You may have to add launchpad.net to the whitelist, or the bypass list so that the traffic is not monitored?

We filter all traffic anything ssl gets decrypted and sent down to the client (basically a man in the middle) and I had to add the url to the bypass list so the traffic is not decrypted.

I could get to the website fine, but I saw issues with adding the repository. (I even added the repo to the sources.list which helped some but not completely.)
