Description
All of my dell desktops deploy the images on fog without problems.
I’ve triyng to deploy on samsung laptops, this error:
-
Is this a uefi or bios system?
Did you disable secure boot?
The error message is roughly about starting the bzImage on this computer
What precisely do you have for dhcp option 67? I’ve seen a similar error message when and older pxelinux.0 is used for some reason to pxe boot.
Are you running a dnsmasq server or just a dhcp server?
-
Are the working Dells in UEFI mode or in Legacy/BIOS mode? Look in their firmware, F2 while powering on I think. It’ll be in the boot area stuff.

What did you do/change to make it work for you?

after disabled the uefi and enable cmo boot worked

Future readers may not want to just disable UEFI, and may not have the ability to disable it. Future readers can find information here on configuring DHCP to support both BIOS based systems and UEFI based systems here: https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=BIOS_and_UEFI_Co-Existence

@george1421 disabled the uefi and enable the mode uefi/cmo
we boot on cmo deploy the image and boot the system on uefi.

So if I can translate this, you are booting into bios (legacy mode) to deploy the image and then boot into uefi for normal run conditions. If that works for you then it sounds like you have a workable process.
