Surface Pro 4 not recognizing fog

  • I have done the key combination that is requested for this and it allows me to boot to network, but then just sits on a screen like it is done connecting but never brings me to the fog page that gives the options to register the device. I apologize about the post not having more details. I will add more specifics later. We have not been successful in imaging a surface pro yet, but have been able to use it for many other models.

  • Factoid about FOG 1.3.0 DHCP, it would have given the surface pro 4 the correct boot file out-of-box.

You can configure your Windows DHCP box to do the same if it’s 2012 or later.

Change your ipxe.efi file to use the “ipxe7156.efi” file.
