      Server
      • FOG Version: 1.3.0 RC-27
      • OS: CentOS 7
      Description

      Re: https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/9023/how-to-prevent-changes-to-existing-etc-exports-file
I put just a simple comment in my /etc/exports file to see if it would be overwritten or not when testing this issue.
I ran the FOG installer for RC-27 like so:
      ./installfog.sh -E
And then went to check /etc/exports and my comment was gone, meaning the file was overwritten.

@Wayne-Workman found and confirmed. I was partially aware of there being an issue with this but just kept over thinking how to approach it.

I’ve implemented a solution into working-RC-28 which appears to fix this , among a few others, issue.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)
