Upgrading from RC22 to RC23
- FOG Version: RC23
- OS: CentOS 7.2.1511
- Service Version: n/a
- OS: n/a
After upgrading from RC22 to RC23 the Dashboard display for Storage Node Disk Usage offers
Invalid storage node Free: NaN% 0.00 iB Used: NaN% 0.00 iB
… and an empty pull down.
Aha, that’s why I didn’t find that post in a search. Can’t keyword search attached pictures.
Changing mine to
FOG_URL_AVAILABLE_TIMEOUT = 3000
… fixed it for me. Thank you.
@sudburr Then you should be good.
I think that 500 milliseconds is too short. @Tom-Elliott this is the 2nd person who has had this issue. I recommend a 2000 millisecond default, if not 3000.
And what if you don’t have any remote nodes?
@sudburr We needed that timeout - because without it, it’s possible that fog totally and completely stops working if just 1 remote storage node goes offline. That’s what happened to me. https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/8927/fog-s-web-interface-doesn-t-work
Okay, but why did this start happening on RC23?
