We need this setting for our imaging and most of it is taken care of by groups. The problem comes when imaging individual systems and the need to remember to check that box every time.

Could a default server setting for this be added to the Fog Configuration page, please and thank you.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

If a computer is pre-existing in fog, and that checkbox is checked, it stays checked. It doesn’t just uncheck itself.

Are you talking about registering computers?

Yes, this would be registering and quick imaging a new system.

Currently the value does not hold in the gui, 1.3-RC5, for the workstation. The checkbox will return to blank when clicking update. The setting is fine for groups.

@ablohowiak As a side note here, if you’re 100% new client in your environment, remove the legacy password in fog, just blank it out in the fog config defaults, and on hosts via groups. The legacy pass has security vulnerabilities.
