@jhuesser task force reboot doesn’t handle client hostname rebooting. That’s handled by the “while users are logged in” which is defined by each host

@jhuesser I noticed that you said that you re-installed the client then re-sysprepped, re-uploaded and redeployed. Can you try to just re-install the client on this one machine. Don’t sysprep it or upload it, just uninstall the client and re-install it to see if it will rename correctly. Trying to rule out that the sysprep process or something else could be causing this. Lets make sure it works before complicating it with sysprep.

@ITSolutions I removed the FOG-Client on the target machine. Then reinstalled it. started the service and rebooted the host. Still no changes. Log said

Hostname-Changer doesn’t appear in the log. AD-Join is enabled in host settings. -

@jhuesser do you use USB to Ethernet adapters? Have you manually keyed in MACs on hosts?

@jhuesser Find the mac address of the virtual box network interface. Do a lookup on the gui and remove it if you can.
Add that mac address under FOG Settings -> Expand all -> (search for filter) and add the mac address of the Vbox system to that filter list.
Then you shouldn’t ahve a problem.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

That was it. Now everything works as it should. Will test it on other clients. One last question, if i have Hostname-Changer active, do I need to sysprep to gain an new SID so i don’t get any errors on that?

@jhuesser There is no “requirement” but I would recommend it. I believe you might Have to if you’re using KMS though.

btw, no i see the “reset encryption data” button on hosts overview too…And for the network interfaces: i disabled them (couldn’t delete them).
The filter i wrote in
FOG_QUICKREG_PENDING_MAC_FILTER.So now testing OU and sysprep. Thank you very much for your help!!
