Problems with LDAP Plugin when OU contains spaces and mutations (äöü)?

Hi,

is it possible that the LDAP Plugin has problems when OU is containing spaces and or äöü?
I cannot get it to work.

Sure it is possible. Can you please verify by setting up LDAP structure without spaces and german umlauts? Or we need more information on what exactly goes wrong - error messages?!?

what do you see if you go to <your-fog-server-address>/fog/service/hostname.php?mac=<mac-address-of-host> ?
and remove the values of #ADUser= and #ADPass= from your response for security reasons

@x23piracy that’s an “invalid host” error. meaning that it didn’t recognize that as a valid mac for any registered hosts

I might be wrong but I think Tom has already fixed this error in the latest. Didn’t have too much time today to follow all the posts. Well if you don’t get any error in the logs you probably need to enable php error logging (search the web for how to enable it). But be aware that there will be quite a couple of warnings as well when you turn on error logging.
