PXE boot flying past the boot screen
-
Weird issue.
I have a desktop that I want to push the image to the FOG server. I’ve set it up on FOG and tried to push the image, but when I originally tried, I didn’t have the ATA set in the BIOS. It was set to ACHP/RAID. It never upped the image to the server. Now, since then, I’ve removed the host from FOG, and reloaded everything on the desktop. When I PXE boot, it skips the menu all together. Then it seemed to up the image to the server. Even after doing that, the host is not in FOG at all, and the PXE boot menu will not show. I have since swapped machines, and that one worked perfectly. I have a feeling that there is something in FOG that is forcing that upload, like a MAC address somewhere. I’ve checked the tasks and there is nothing pending. Any clues?
Thanks

Check the /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg/ directory on the FOG server for the file 01-<MAC ADDRESS>. Delete it.
