What about swapping the order they’re listed?

RE: FOG NFS Challenge: Can you do it?
It’s been a while since I last spent much time dealing with the rules of NFS; but I seem to recall there being a thing about subdirectory rules being inherited, and some searching around the web points to swapping your fsid’s for /images and /images/dev so that /images/dev is processed first.
Not really sure if that will solve anything, and I don’t have a linux box on hand to test with, but it looks plausible.
Bugs in FOG 0.33
The developers have real jobs that do take up a lot of their time, causing development of FOG 0.33 to slow down from time to time. Currently the SVN repository is somewhere near a beta stage, with some aspects still awaiting further rewrites, which means FOG 0.33 is NOT production ready. If anyone feels up to the task of pulling down the repository and posting any bugs they might find it could help move things along. Please use this thread to track any initial bug reports for FOG 0.33, and if necessary we can split some bugs off on their own thread.
FOG and External Authentication - Shibboleth
I can’t go into all the details for setting it up, because I only worked on it from the FOG side, but a while back we were able to “bypass” the FOG authentication system and “replace” it with a Shibboleth installation. This gave us pseudo centralized logins. Quick overview: the Shibb team added FOG as a service provider and we modified the /management/includes/loginform.include.php to use a static random character password that all accounts were set to in FOG, and set the username to $_SERVER[‘REMOTE_USER’].
Hitting the URL forces you to the Shibb login page and you can’t get past that without a Shibb user account, and then it fails if your username doesn’t exist in FOG.
It’s rather hacked together, although it works pretty well, but I’m wondering if there is going to be a better method of external authentication with 0.33.
