    So I have these asus netbooks that I got figured out with the help of this great community. They were imaging no issues until yesterday. I updated to the latest trunk as of about noon yesterday, after all the fixing that was done with the PHP issue. Now these laptops will not image.

    Image failed to restore and exited with an exit code 0 (writeImage)

    Any ideas?

      @EAHarvey This error is due to something that went wrong with partclone (the blue/grey screen) actually doing the copy work. Please try again and pay attention to any error you see in that screen. Best if you can take a picture or video when things go wrong.

      Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

          @Sebastian-Roth hello

          I have the same problem today with dell optiplex 760 worstation
          Partclone says :

          Target partition size (xxx MB) is smaller than source xxx MB.
          Use option -C to disable size checking (Dangerous)

          And just after

          Image failed to restore and exited with exit code 0 (writeImage)

          May be same problem ?

              @EAHarvey Yours looks like the image type is partimage, not partclone.

                @Tom-Elliott That is correct.
                These are older images. But were working fine prior to yesterday. FOG strictly Partclone now?

                    @Tom-Elliott I didn’t think so. I wonder what has changed. Where could i look for that error log. in the FOG error_logs folder or a different location?

                      @EAHarvey Maybe I am missing something here but I still cannot see the error that partclone is showing. It’s not on the picture you posted, is it?

                      @plegrand Please search the forums for “is smaller than source”. There are a lot of discussions on this. Usually comes from recovery partitions that come with vendor installations. Or do you see this error only after a FOG upgrade from yesterday just as the OP does??

                      Edit: Just remembered your other posts (https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/6620/fog-restore-only-one-partition). I am not sure if this is related to what EAHarvey is seeing.

                          @Sebastian-Roth Just started after yesterdays update. Nothing else has changed. I imaged these same laptops about a week ago.

                            I think you’re right about this because the problem come with dell workstation each time
                            and restauration partition

                            may be it’s not the same problem

                            then sorry for the noise !! 😉

                              @EAHarvey Don’t you see an error in the blue/gray partclone screen??

                                      @Sebastian-Roth I believe the Partclose/Partimage screen flashes by so fast I’m probably not seeing it.

                                      It just a quick flash.
