    @Wayne-Workman

    On the latest imaging for two different models/images, it only gives the partition the image size in windows.

    I did notice under disk management that it showed the normal size (495 GB), but under my computer, it only shows the disk size (24 GB) for the šŸ˜„ drive.

    To temporarily resolve I went into a cmd prompt and did a diskpart, selected volume, and extend filesystem. That fixed it.

    Can this be fixed in fog?

    Thanks!

      Sounds like a bug. Is this a GPT disk or MBR disk? I suppose it’s GPT since you can extend it so easily. What sort of HDD ? Mechanical or SSD? How many HDDs are in the system?

        @Wayne-Workman
        It’s actually MBR. 1 Mechanical HDD, 2 partitions, windows 7.

        FYI… This image did work before updating.

        Thanks for looking into this!

            @Wayne-Workman

            I’m not exactly sure… I know on Friday last week I was at…
            Version: 5972 in fog… rev 4653

            Then i updated on Tuesday and it fixed my host registering problem, but apparently the imaging wasn’t correct and I didnt know because I didnt login to the computer after imaging to find out until today.

                @GFm I’m hoping, once again, that I’m not always an idiot and have found some things in the code base.

                I don’t know if it will work as I wasn’t experiencing the same problem described. I did find a bunch of potential problems though, and of them it appears that the ā€œexpandPartitionā€ was not receiving the proper listing of partitions.

                Specifically, I think it was attempting to expand the parts as: ā€œ/dev/sda1 /dev/sda2ā€ as opposed to trying to expand them individually. This may still be the case, but I really don’t know.

                      Different error now… see error attached. I did get the same result of two different machines/images.

                        @GFm Please update again.

                        I found the problem by completely replicating your environment (sys.img.000 style images and all) and found the problem.

                        This has since been fixed. Thank you for reporting the issues and I hope this means your downloads will be MUCH happier.

                          So, the one image that is single partition, resizable works (extends just fine), but this image below does not work. It won’t extend. Thanks for your help so far!

                          LAM-DH61DL-MMS158-AD - 71
                          default: Windows 7
                          Multiple Partition Image - Single Disk (Not Resizable)
                          Everything
