Upload image task fails
-
Hello
I’m using Ubuntu 15.04 as FOG-Server. [edit] and FOG Server 1.2.0 [/edit]
I’ve setted up everything like in the tutorials. Booting from PXE, register Host via Web-UI and via the host directly works fine. But then I create an upload task for a windows 8.1 machine. Then i boot the PC again from PXE and it recognize the OS, image etc. Then, when the progress bar should show up (https://youtu.be/Si3kMajqXbE?t=50m31s), it hangs with the message
Using Hard Disk /dev/sda
Any idea what I did wrong?

Can you tell us more about the target host you’re working with? Manufacturer? Model?
What sort of hard drive is in the target host? Is the target hard drive blank? Is the target host’s HDD setup in MBR or GPT?

Hi,
We are using hp compaq 82000 elite small form factor Clients. The disk has a windows 8.1 with all apps that we need installed. It’s an
ocz-vertex 3 SSD in MBR. -
This is the factors that one needs the fix parts. Exactly this. On upload it gets stuck on the HDD.

Hey, after tessting it really looks like the problem is on that SSD. Could deploy and upload on other clients. I guess the first imaging tool brokes it. But after all fog is better than that anyway. Thank you for your help!
