Can't change "additional MACs"
-
I swapped around some add-on NICs a while ago - tried to update the 2nd nic on this one tower and couldn’t do it. the Web interface won’t let me. After I update, it’s just set back to the old MAC.
SVN Revision 4474

I guess I don’t understand.
Is it just inserting a new mac? That’s to be expected. Is it not adding any other macs?
-
@Tom-Elliott Updating a 2nd MAC to a different MAC.
I traded out NIC cards.
-
Ok I think this was my fault.
I traded NICs in two computers - both of those NICs MAC addresses were already registered with FOG.
Tom explained to me that I cannot alter (existing) 2nd MAC addresses - but I was able to delete it.
And I was unable to put in the correct MAC until I deleted the entire host that had the MAC previously.
So… my fault.
-
@Tom-Elliott the “Remove Mac” minus button next to the additional MAC addresses doesn’t work right. The MAC is not deleted.
-
Still don’t understand.
It works on my side.
-
@Tom-Elliott I clicked “Remove Mac”, the MAC dissappeared, I clicked “Update” and then it reappears.
-
This should now be fixed.
-
@Tom-Elliott Confirmed fixed. I can now delete MAC addresses - and they stay gone.
