svn 5453 - Fog project CA - New FOG Client (Recommended)

Hi,
i installed this morning svn 5453 cause i needed to be able to restore a specific partition and i saw that it s working without any problem.
I saw that there was a new client coming with that svn (how to check the version ?) but when i tried to download it, i get an error with the msi file telling “Unable to install Fog Project CA: le fichier spécifié est introuvable”.
Searching on the forum, i read this https://news.fogproject.org/fog-project-ca/ explaining that i have to install a certificate but i didnt find yet how to do it ? Could someone give me some help ?
With that new client, is it easier to deploy printers ?thx

It seems, to me, that it’s during the client installation this is happening?
Can you double check the FOG Server’s /opt/fog/snapins/ssl/.srvprivate.key is made?

For sure i forgot to do something during the installation…
The only file i have in that folder is
fog.csrWhat i did to install the server
- download and install fog 1.2.0
- download and install fog_trunk
- purge and reinstall apache2 cause i had unable to start
- correct the password for the storage node and AD
that s all…

Is the legacy client still installed on the machine? You have to remove the old client from a computer before installing the new one.

What i meant in my previous message is that i dont know where to find the procedure to install the new client. It s a msi file and i m searching for the install procedure to solve the problem of that certificate.
It seems to work fine with the previous version but i d like to check the improvements of the new one

You know, you should have search a little before…
**HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\FOG
But where can i find the doc of it ?
In the legacy version, there was an ini file and the fog server was written in it. How is it working with this one cause i don t see it anymore.. Is it in the registry ? thx -

I got problem with the ntprint.inf.It still works the same way. This tool will help you get the printer information needed for the fog-server configuration:

@raymondub at the moment the best documentation is in the forums. @Jbob has only posted like 300 times lol. You could probably sit down one day and read all his posts and know everything you need to know.
