I did read that it may be an issue because i have VM Workstation installed, so it has extra MAC address.

I tried to remove my pc for fog and register it again with only the 1 MAC address. But the log still shows it as having 3.

This is going to be an issue as i have a a few work rooms with Virtual Box and the pcs have multipliable MACs and snapins will not deploy.

Anyone got an answer to this?

      Thanks in advance.

      Duncan

Can you check to see if the multiple MACs on the deployed systems are all the same?

If they are, this can all be cleaned up pretty fast.

Yes this is what it was.

Virtual box has been deployed and they all seem to have the same MAC.

Deleted the MAC out of SQL database, restarted mysql and snapins started to deploy.

Bit weird how Virtual Box is using the same MAC for multiple installs.

Anyway to easliy check for duplicates? I had to search a few log files to get the MAC address.

It not virtual box using the same macs.

It’s virtual box being preinstalled with the specified mac addresses that’s causing the problem.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@Duncan There are SQL queries that can list duplicate data in a specific field. Once you have the select statement prepared, you can then put it in parentheses into the WHERE clause for a delete command.

              So…
select duplicates from hostMac.mac address; (or whatever it is)

              delete from hostMac where (select duplicates from hostMac.mac address);

get it? It’s been a hot second since I’ve used SQL heavily so I don’t quite remember the syntax but I’m sure you can figure it out.

Please post the command you come up with, this is one way you can GIVE BACK to an open source project. 🙂

PLEASE PLEASE export your DB before you delete anything!
