Windows 10 support
-
Hello,
i like to know if the FOG already support Windows 10 in the case of FOG Client and application of machines in a domain. -
Yes it does.
-
Only Trunk ? Or 1.2.0 works to ?
-
All FOG Versions should support Windows 10 (v 0.32 and up).
-
Because when i try to create a image from Windows 10, appears the follow message:
“Invalid operating system id”I tried change the Image type to Win Others and Other OS.
-
Set the OS id to Windows 7 and try it.
-
It creates a image with 500 Mb and don’t works.

Is it a manufacturer installation ?

Or, an upgrade from a manufacturer installation?

I don’t know the layout of your system but I can assure you windows 10 does work. Of course if you’re not on the development version of fog, you’ll likely run into issues if you’re attempting to use a UEFI based installation of Windows 10. This is just my guess, but what do I know.

It’s not the manufacturer installation. Other campus from my university also had the same problem

@danilopinotti Can you please provide us with a short video (use your smartphone, upload to YouTube and then post here) to show what sort of error happens at the 500MB mark? We can take photos too but it might be much more difficult to capture the error with photographs.
Can you tell us how many partitions you have on your base-computer? Is it MBR or GPT? what model of computer is it? is the HDD a SSD?
What is the image type? single disk? Resizeable? Raw?
We really need much, much more details to help - we are at the mercy of what details you provide to us. The more details you can give us, the better.

@Wayne-Workman
I’ll soon be putting all they requested -
I formatted the machine again, only this time I created the partitions before sending install direct. In this way it worked.
