    Hi

With the update 3591 i’m not able to upload any image from my virtual machine.
I get a kernel panic after the loading of bz.image and init.xz.

Please try the kernel 3.0.1. I’m guessing your VM here is setup using Windows 8/8.1 layout.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

        Hi @Tom-Elliott

Just finished to upload my image with kernel 3.0.1.
So it’s solved with an older kernel.
What is the big difference between the kernel from [SVN3591] and [SVN3569]?

          What do you mean?

As far as I knew, all kernels panicked when the vm was created with using windows 8 as the base starting point. 3.0.1 seems to fix this issue though I don’t know why.

Before the upgrade to SVN3591 the imaging worked with my VM W8.1x64.
I was having no problems with the kernels installed with SVN3569.

as a side note to this, so all your hosts aren’t using the old kernel, you can specify a particular host to use a particular kernel inside host management -> host -> general

You could set this VM to use the old kernel, and then set the global kernel to the new one… You’d need to put a copy of the old kernel in a different spot or just give it a different name so it doesn’t get overwritten every time you update.
