    I have try some compression level, below results :

    Host configuration :

    • Core I5
    • 12 Go RAM
    • Ethernet : Giga

    LAN Configuration :

    • Ethernet : Giga

    Deploy method : unicast

    Installation :

    • Single boot Windows 7
    • Size : 87 Go

    Compression : 0

      I will be making an effort to switch the default from 9 to 5 or 6. It seems this is the best bang for your buck as Upload and Download are very well handled. Ultimately you’re not saving much more at 9 than you do at a compression rating of 5 or 6 and it just takes it so long to upload that it’s not really worth the effort. I mean it’s basically less than 1% size difference between 9 and 5.

      I hope this is good for everybody, of course your own settings can be adjusted as well.

        I know that I speak for EVERYONE when saying yes, lets get it down to at least 6 (maybe 5?).

          I always choose either 6 or 7.

          6 for old stuff, 7 for new stuff…

          that’s just me though.

            So I did my own testing and I don’t find there to be much difference for downloading, but compression level does seem to increase uploading time significantly. If interested, my post is titled more compression testing.
