How do I manually update DNS server
My fog server keeps reverting its DNS address back to 127.0.0.1 and its a major headache. I can rerun the install script but that takes too long. I figure theres an easier way to just edit a file and restart a service. Is that possible or do I really need to rerun the install script over and over when it happens (usually if I have to restart the fog server)?
I would edit the file /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf and remove the line
or comment it out.
Pleas provide more information about what linux you have and possibly also you FOG version.
What do you mean by ‘DNS address’?? The address of the DNS server being used? Please read this. Might be helpful: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2066179
