Database Schema Installer / Updater

Fog 1.2.0 installed on ubuntu 14.04 server here and i keep getting the Database Schema Installer / Updater error on reboot and on logout of the fog web management. Is there a fix for this issue?

From what i can tell from testing is that this seems to be an issue only when using ubuntu 14.04, i’m going back 12.04 LTS because it doesn’t seem like its an issue on that version.

I’ve seen many post on the forums advising against 14.04

I recommend Debian 7

14.04 seems to have a lot of issues. I switched to debian 7 and everything worked just fine. Trust me I fought the good fight with Tom’s help trying to stay with 14.04, but it just didn’t work out.

14.04 is still “capable” just has, as Buddy has described, been plagued with issues that seem to pop up out of nowhere.

I gotta pipe in here that we’ve standardized on “ubuntu-14.04.1-server-amd64” and SVN 2332 and have managed to slay all dragons thus far.
