Hi sid,
Here is a complete procedure to prepare a Windows image:

To sum up, I will tell you that you should install the operating system, Microsoft updates, software and properly set the WAIK (Windows Automated Installation Kit). For WAIK you’d better look for more information.
FOG service needs to be installed in the clients so you can deploy snapins (software) from FOG server.
FOGPrep is a tool for Windows 7 to delete all information about mounted devices in “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices”.I hope this is what you need.

Hi again,
When I posted the first message I was trying to find the link of the FOGPrep where I saw it. I have found it now:
http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=What_do_I_have_to_do_to_an_image_before_uploading?
As you see at the end of the page, if you are running FOG 0.32 this changes are included.
