Guys, I used FOG server along with SAD2 scripts and the driver pack, but then I realized that some of the drivers from driverpack causes issued on some of our computers.
then started to look for a better solution to make it possible only use the manufacture’s drivers. and lot more.
The solution I found was the MDT2012 ( microsoft Deployment toolkit ) which is a free product that can be run on a windows 7 machine with tones of capblity includin injecting drivers during image deployemnt, post install apps and more…

I’d like to add for updating the drivers in SAD2 for the drivers that won’t install, you can use MDT along with WAIK which both are free from microsoft and build your out of box drivers, then go to your deployment share then open out of box folder and use 7zip to add those extracted drivers to your NT6 folder in SAD2.

here is what I did, I used nlite and integrated the sata drivers and also all the drivers into the xp installation disk, then made an ISO file,
using that ISO I installed windows xp on Sun Virtual Box, then I made a ghost image and tried it on 3 different machines with success, but still waiting on your link fix to sysprep.zip download to try that too.

How do you insert the SATA driver into the image. this process will work if AHCI is disabled in the BIOS but what if it is enabled?

this is what I did;
I created a RunOnce registry input which will call the DP_install the first time that windows boots.
Example: DrvIns.reg
C:\Drivers\SAD2-111118\DP_Install_Tool.i have uploaded the file, please remember to rename it to drvins.reg

That’s funny that you made the fog user into a moblie and I can’t log in with any mobile user that I create.
fog is keep going back to login screen when I use the mobile user to login with.
may I ask which version of FOG are you using and if you ever experienced the issue that I have with mobile users?

We have like 13 Technicians who also are responsible for imaging workstions for our users if they need to.
I want them to be able to use the FOG server for this purpose with no right of being able to delete the image or do any other damage.
I noticed the FOG has the mobile user which I have not been able to use yet because when I creat a mobile user, that user is not able to login and I guess this is another problem that FOG has.

I was wondering if there is anyone out there in same situation like I am and if has found a good working solution for that?
