Any help would be very much appreciated

Try my kernel, see the FAQ link in my signature.

Hi Tom

Thank you for your reply. I am having trouble downloading it to my FOG server. Our proxy is causing problems at the moment. Is there any where I can download it using a window pc and transfer it to the FOG server?

Thanks

Thank you.
Although I set up out FOG server I have never configured it past the simplest of ways. So would you please confirm for me that i need to place the new bzImage file here - /tftpboot/fog/kernel ?
And can I just copy it there or do i need to use the terminal?
If i need to use the terminal, which commands do i use?
Then do i need to do any thing in the FOG software?

Sorry for all the questions

Amanda

No bzImage should be located in /var/www/fog/service/ipxe

/tftpboot --> network boot files (undionly.kpxe/ipxe.kkpxe)
/var/www/<html/fog>/service/ipxe --> Kernels & Fog Menu Items (bzImage/bzImage_32)

Rather than break a working FOG server just for this one batch of PC’s I have built another and all is now working.

Thanks for your help
