Fog 0.33b Snappin deployment

  • Testers

I cannot get any snappins to deploy, the pc just keeps rebooting. When I check the fog.log file on the client pc:
TaskReboot A task was found for this client, computer will restart shortly.
Just have to install a printer and I’ll PM you when I’m ready!

  • Testers

Anytime your ready to remote let me know…

  • Senior Developer

Maybe I can remote in to take a look later today? We can do that over PM’s

Also, if possible, to take a look at your fog server directly. This way I can try to get more debugging out of the systems. You, of course, can keep your own passwords, if we can work in tandem.

    Not on my Windows 7 Box… :)

    Okay and thank you.

  • Testers

I am going to head home… I have the KVM connected so I can test once I get there.

  • Senior Developer

That means things are working, sort of. I noticed an issue with the fogservice file though. I’m not seeing anything about snapin’s even attempting any more. I’m looking into it.

Strange… I am not seeing anything out of the norm in the logs.

  • Testers

    deleted /var/www/fog and reinstalled.

  • Testers

    no, its not working.

  • Senior Developer

    So now it’s working?

  • Senior Developer

I’m guessing you’re restarting the FOG Service as well?

Can you delete the fog web directory and reinstall, just to ensure you have the latest and greatest?
