We keep encountering the following error message:

    Could not mount /dev/nvme0n1p3 (/bin/fog.upload>beginUpload)
    Args Passed:
Reason: The disk contains an unclean file system.
Metadata kept in Windows cache, refused to mount
Failed to mount /dev/nvme0n1p3 Operation not permitted.
The NTFS partition is in an unsafe state. Please resume and shut down Windows fully,
or mount the volume read-only with the 'ro' mount option.

We have already fully restarted the Windows PC, but the issue persists.
What other solutions can we try to fix this?

      Hey @Tom-Elliott
I tried the powercfg command and that fixed the issue, i think the device was not shutdown fully, we got it working again.
      Thanks!

@ReinierG I feel like there’s missing information here.

        Is fast-restart enabled?

I believe the command you’d need:
powercfg /h off as an administrator account and you should not have the dirty bit issue.

If this issue still persists, I’d also recommend doing a chkdsk/sfc scan of the disk as well.

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)
