Ubuntu vmlinuz.efi missging
-
Hi guys, before i begin let me say thanks to the fog project. I’ve managed to pxe boot to windows 10 and 8.1 Granted it took me 2 weeks of searching but i eventually found a post that answered my questions.
BUT!!! now I’m stuck with setting up an image, to be more precise an Ubuntu 22.04 iso. I’ve followed the fog project forums guides to the letter but when it comes time to issuing this command
“cp /images/os/ubuntu/Desk22/casper/vmlinuz.efi /tftpboot/os/ubuntu/Desk22” i get a response telling me vmlinuz.efi was not found…If anyone has a reasonably quick answer to this i’d be forever in your debt.
Hit me back!!!

@theyikes Well the first thing I would do is look to see what the kernel name is in the casper directory. Ubuntu does change this kernel name from time to time. I do think the file name listed looks suspicious. I would expect something like vmlinuz without the extension. But look to see the kernel name and adjust accordingly.
