Managing Imaging at remote sites
-
I manage a couple of sites that have remote locations connected via fairly slow WANs.
What is the best way to deploy FOG across multiple sites?
I would like to be able to image from a central site but tftp and nfs are local at the remote sites.
Do I do the following?
- Master node at my central site
- At my remote sites can I run just NFS servers (looking at QNAP NAS replication required images via rsync) and have these added as storage nodes on my master server.
- provide tftp service on these QNAP and replicated boot images from master as per http://www.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php/Multiple_TFTP_servers
Regards,
Stephen…
