Ubuntu Client not booting into Local Operating System

Hi,

I am trying to boot ubuntu client from FOG menu and get following error.
Windows client can boot fine into the local operating system!
Linux client VM in Proxmox can boot fine into Operating System!
But not so with Ubuntu Client.
I also cannot Capture Ubuntu Client image as well.
Can capture Windows client image.

Any help would be appreciated.

Found through experimenting that only Ubuntu 20.04 Server or Desktop works fine to boot from REFIND_EFI

Does not work under UEFI boot.
Does not work on Ubuntu 22.04 or 23.04.

I remember there was a topic in the forums on a similar issue. Just can’t find it right now. Try the forum search or your search engine of choice (e.g. using site:forums.fogproject.org as well).

@mardonis200 Looks like we have at least three different topics on this issue (links see below). As far as I get this an update to iPXE was causing this issue. You might want to try iPXE binaries from FOG 1.5.9. While this is not great it’s a start.
