I’m having issues installing FOG on a virtual fedora 36 (I can’t find 24 lmk if I’m crazy please) Using Hyper-V, I can ping the server from other machines on the network (IPaddress), I can also get a webpage from adding a index.html file to httpd (var/www/html/index.html) via IP address. however I can’t get to the web interface (http://ipaddress/fog/management) if I navigate to it I get a error 500 Internal Server error. If I curl it from my host’s terminal I get html code for 301 Moved permanently the document has moved <href= http://ipaddress/fog/management> Not too sure if this is a permissions issue, or a file config issue. Any advice is helpful.

I am unable to proceed with the install because I’m at the step where it says “You still need to install/update your database schema. This can be done by going to http://ipaddress/fog/management”

      I’ve done somethings here https://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=Fedora_36&p=httpd&f=1

      Thank you.
      WC.

@wchaney I assume you’re using the dev-branch? To my knowledge, the last official release doesn’t work with Fedora 36. I do know that dev-branch works with Fedora 36.

Please help us build the FOG community with everyone involved. It's not just about coding - way more we need people to test things, update documentation and most importantly work on uniting the community of people enjoying and working on FOG!

@wayne-workman I didn’t know that, I’ve been using the default branch. Thanks for including the install procedure in the github page. My assumption that it would work stemmed from the requirements section of the installation portion of the wiki https://wiki.fogproject.org/wiki/index.php?title=Installation

I’ve cloned the dev-branch, and will run through the installation now.

@wayne-workman That worked. Could there be a change to the wiki in this case? I swear I spent far too long troubleshooting that.

Thank you Wayne, for your assistance. I can get to the webpage now. I’m excited to use this tool!
