@amjfrankenstein Thanks for your effort on updating the installer for ARCH. Since your last post there were discussions about completely removing support for ARCH I am afraid. Please read through the following posts and issue reports on github:
        https://github.com/FOGProject/fogproject/issues/447
        https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/15936/os-support-the-numbers-are-in
        https://forums.fogproject.org/topic/15591/arch-manjaro-install-database-and-web-fails

Web GUI issue? Please check apache error (debian/ubuntu: /var/log/apache2/error.log, centos/fedora/rhel: /var/log/httpd/error_log) and php-fpm log (/var/log/php*-fpm.log)

@tom-elliott said in Got Arch/Manjaro install to work:

I don’t know if you purposely deleted, but I will say our community isn’t as harsh as the arch community with questions.

Harsh is an understatement. I will never ask that community another question.

@amjfrankenstein Can you please post a full diff of the changes you made?

                Long time sorry
I have the needed changes to the install scripts but vsftpd needs to be installed and enabled/started beforehand - xinetd steals the port and installer will fail

                right now i just simply
                yay -S vsftpd
                and
                systemctl enable --now vsftpd
then run the install.sh after my changes ofc

it seems xinetd needs to be installed but stopped and disabled for vsftpd to function but i am unsure where to tell it this i run install it fails i disable and stop xinetd restart vsftpd and rerun installer and it works fine

That said if you’re okay with it, copy the files you change to your git clone as appropriate and run git diff
