fogproject user account ?

Hello friends…
I Haven’t used fog in 10 years, and this is my first time setting it up. I ran the install on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. So far so good, but there is now a new user account, ‘fogproject’, on my PC. I’m not sure what it’s for, and I can’t get logged into it. All the passwords I try are incorrect. I used the default ‘password’ for the fog user, but that didn’t work either. Can someone please give be a quick brief on what I’m looking at?

@Qweeqweg that account is used for ftp access by fog. it was created during the install process.

@Qweeqweg Just to add to what has been said already, this account should not be used to login and work on your machine. It’s used by FOG itself and should be left alone!

Gentlemen… I searched for ‘fogproject’ user account, but could not find anything on that subject. I was expecting to see maybe a user account ‘fog’, but that’s the management account. I understand now. Much obliged. Thank you.

@Qweeqweg the change from using an account named “fog” to an account named “fogproject” is recent. in spite of directions, people kept creating and using an account named “fog” as their user account when setting up the server.
