Issue with TFTP.
-
So I installed Fog Project on a fresh install of Ubuntu Server 18.04.
I’m unfortunately forced to use this OS as it is the standard going forward.Got everything installed and configured then I was forced to move the box onto a different port on the switch which required changing VLANs and switching it’s IP address.
I did another run of the install script with the new IPs. (removing .fogsettings). I would also like to note that I didn’t have it working before it was moved either. It got moved in the middle of the project as they needed the other VLAN for something else.
Anyway, I’ve got the WebUI working and the server runs successfully as DHCP. But when I launch a PXE boot from any host TFTP Times out and nothing happens.
I’ve been pining over settings and trying everything I can but I can’t seem to get TFTP working.
I am able to connect to it from another machine but I’m unable to transfer any files.
Not sure what else to try. Will supply any information anyone asks me for to get this fixed.
Thanks in advanced!

@paravane so, you re IP’d a server that you never had working, removed .fogsettings and reran the installer, and you’re using the FOG server for DHCP?
frankly, there are so many things that need reconfigured and so many things unknown that the easiest thing to do at this point might be to start over.

@Junkhacker Alright! I’ll report back with my findings!

@Junkhacker and @Sebastian-Roth
Junk was right. Fresh install taking almost all defaults fixed it for me.
Thanks!
